Presentation

Château de Bouchassy wines arise from the passion and conviction of the Degoul family to innovate and create unique tastes based on fundamental values such as tradition, authenticity and quality.

From generation to generation the Degoul family has cultivated the knowledge of the earth.
Their know-how and a unique terroir have made the Château de Bouchassy a mainstay of the Lirac appellation.

The Lirac appellation sits atop the pyramid of the hierarchy of Côtes du Rhone vineyards. Lirac's vineyards display their vines in terraces and hill slopes on the right bank of the Rhône, wedged between the garrigue subland, the Mistral and the arid land drenched by the dazzling sun of the Midi.

Situated in Roquemaure, the 27 hectares of the Château produce red, rosé and white wines. The red wine aged in oak casks produces an exceptional "vin de garde" and this year the domain innovates by creating a "cuvée mirroir", reflecting its "savoir-faire" and perpetuating its pledge to quality and authenticity.

In 2010, his wife Michèle and his son Nicolas took the lead to perpetuate the strong family tradition and expertise.
